Biographical Information:

Amitra Schwols is a homeschooling parent, STEM curriculum consultant, and technical writer. She is a lead author of a series of mathematical booklets for classroom teachers. In addition to her homeschooling experience, Ms. Schwols has worked as a classroom teacher for middle and high school, and as a nuclear technician in the US Navy. She has conducted reviews of instructional materials, created lesson plans, and conducted research on numerous educational topics. Ms. Schwols holds an MPA from the University of Colorado Denver, and a BS in Science, with an emphasis in Physics and Mathematics, and a minor in English, from Colorado State University.
