Biographical Information:

Kenneth Bertin received his first telescope at the age of seven and has been an avid astronomer for most of his life. He organized an astronomy club in high school and has traveled to and observed ten total solar eclipses, three annular eclipses and both transits of Venus. He has seen numerous partial solar eclipses and numerous Lunar eclipses, photographing (both video and still) each type. Kenneth is past president of the Warren Astronomical Society. He has over 150 prepared astronomy presentations, including 25 biographical talks on historical astronomers. His states his purpose in life is "the acquisition of knowledge, and the imparting it to others"
