Biographical Information:

Emily Anders is a science teacher who lives in Arlington, Virginia. She has a Masters in Elementary Education and is a member of the National Science Teachers Association and Windows to the Universe. She graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2002 and served in Korea and Afghanistan. After her time in the Army, she volunteer taught in Tanzania and Ecuador. Emily has loved space since she was a child watching meteor showers with her family late at night on the beaches of Long Island. She continues to share her love of the solar system with her elementary school students and her family.
