Several individuals were recognized for their contributions on a variety of fronts and projects on behalf of the Multimission Operations Systems Office (MOSO) in a combination all-hands meeting and awards ceremony Jan. 30 in von Karman Auditorium [at JPL].
The awards are presented annually to selected individuals working on MOSO tasks, and "symbolically represent all of the exceptional work done by many MOSO people throughout the year," according to manager Dave Linick.
One of the winners was Dr. Paul Chodas, for outstanding technical innovation in accurately predicting the collisions of Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 with Jupiter in July 1994.
