Comet SL9 Lecture at JPL

Don Yeomans, senior research scientist at the Jet Propulsion Lab, will discuss "A Cosmic Spectacular" at JPL in Von Karman Auditorium on Monday, September 26, 1994. This lecture will last from 11 AM - 1 PM, and is part of the Space and Earth Science Program Directorate lecture series. Yeomans will summarize the preliminary interpretations of the observations and suggest why many of the pre-crash predictions were inaccurate.
