Images from Grove Creek Observatory

The Grove Creek Observatory in Australia will be conducting an imaging program of Jupiter over the next week using our C-14 and ST-4 CCD camera.

We will have up-to-the-hour images available via anonymous ftp. Tests results over the last few months have proven that very high contrast images of the planet can be acheived with our system, and it is through the availability of these previous images, that we have been requested to make them available.

ftp gco.apana.org.au /pub/jupiter directory. Images will be RAW and in ST-4 CCD format. An MSDOS reader is available in the /pub/ccd directory as is our library of images. Time does not permit proccessing and conversion to gif, however, we will process the better images and make them available next week.

Australian viewers may wish to see the live cross on Channel 7 nightly news and the following "Real Life" program from the Grove Creek Observatory on Monday night at 6.30pm on the 18th of July.
