This image was taken July 9 from the Kitt Peak National Observatory, and is brought to you by the National Science Foundation. In this image one can now see the comet fragments as five visible luminous condensations in a more diffuse train. The train is oriented from the bottom left to the top right in the image. The diffuse glow in the bottom left is from scattered light due to Jupiter.
