This is a pseudo-colour image of Jupiter at 23:14 UT on 16th July. Please note that the colours are not true-to-life, as the filters used to produce this image were not the usual red-green-blue set. The impact site of fragment A is clearly visible on the central meridian in Jupiter's Southern hemisphere.
