This image of Jupiter was taken on July 21st, 1994 at approximately 21:00 MDT (3:00 UT, July 22nd) by Jody Wilson, Marlon Caputo, and Mark Bullock at the Sommers Bausch Observatory (University of Colorado, Boulder). The observers are graduate students at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP). A 24 inch telescope was used with a Johnson V filter and a 6 inch aperture stop to prevent saturation of the CCD detector.
