10 Images of Jupiter taken at Beaver Meadow Observatory North Java NY. Instrument used: 12.5" f/6.8 GEM, 2.5 Barlow, 12.5mm eyepiece.
The images were taken using a "Cookbook" CCD camera based on a TI-245 charged coupled device.
I used an OIII filter to increase the contrast of the impact sites. The manufacturers specifications for the filter are:
96% 496nm, 76% 501nm, .8% 486nm
