1.0 ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED AND ACCOMPLISHED:
1.1 Completed Three Sets of WF/PC-2 5167 (Jovian Auroral Lyman-Alpha Profile: Cycle 4 )
The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the northern auroral regions of the planet Jupiter to study the excitation processes and atmospheric properties in this region. An Earth Calibration image was also taken. FGS #2 fail to acquire Fine Lock before a Type 3 slew at 107/1547Z (HSTAR 5183). Delay Loss of Lock was set, at end of the Type 3 slew, and acquisition process was resumed and Fine Lock was achieved on both primary and secondary FGSs (FGS 1 and 2). Subsequent FHST update showed a large V1 correction which probably contributed at the acquisition taking longer than expected. No other anomalies were noted.
