Special Issue of GRL on the Shoemaker-Levy 9 Collision with Jupiter

As a follow-up to the June 1 special issue of GRL on the predicted effects of the collision of p/Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 with Jupiter, GRL will publish a special issue on the observed effects of the collision and on the insights that analyses of these observations have yielded into the composition, dynamics, and structure of the Jovian atmosphere and into the composition and size of the impacting comet fragments. Papers for the special issue will be handled by J. H. Waite, Jr., GRL's editor for space physics, aeronomy, and planetary atmospheres. To be considered for the special issue, papers should be received before December 5, 1994. Send five copies, conforming to GRL guidelines to:
