Learners experiment with ultraviolet (UV) light-sensitive plastic beads, which are generally white but turn colors when exposed to UV light.

This activity includes background information, a printable bookmark with the electromagnetic spectrum on it, and a data sheet with a list of materials learners can experiment with to see if they block UV light.
