Through the Clouds

The Cassini spacecraft and Huygens probe begin their seven-year journey to the ringed planet. The
successful launch of Cassini aboard a Titan IVB/Centaur occured at 4:43 a.m. EDT, October 15, 1997.

This image was captured from a video of the launch. The video is available for viewing in QuickTime or MPEG format.
