Tell us about your job. What do you do?

I’m a web user experience designer for the Center for Education Through Exploration (ETX). I make digital products easier to use, more intuitive, and engaging. I like learning the needs of a user and then finding techniques to improve the user experience. I’ve worked in the e-learning industry for 15 years developing graphics, animation, and interactive experiences curriculum.

What's one piece of advice you would give to someone interested in learning more about science?

It’s a welcoming community. Don't be afraid to reach out.
