Titan Flyby - July 19, 2007

This composite was produced from images returned on 14 January 2005, by ESA's Huygens probe during its successful descent to land on Titan.
Probing Titan's Surface West of Huygens Site
Cassini completed a successful flyby of Titan on July 19. Observations included bistatic scattering just to the west of the Huygens probe landing site. Bistatic scattering is a type of radio science observation used to determine the nature and composition of Titan's surface.
