Comet ISON Nearing Perihelion

This image of comet ISON was taken on 10 November 2013 at UT 4.10 with 8"/2.8 and CCD. The dust and gas tail are both clearly visible in this image of the comet. Comet ISON is on its way to closest approach with the sun on 28 November 2013.
