This
drawing depicts the Genesis spacecraft in launch configuration
inside the nosecone of a Delta 2 rocket. At this stage,
the spacecraft is shaped like a triangle, created by folding
the solar power panels up over the sample return capsule
that is mounted on the flat spacecraft bus. The folded
spacecraft fits snugly inside the nosecone. |
