About the Event

On April 8, 2024, from 2 pm-4 pm the Bartow Pell Mansion Museum invites you to view a deep partial solar eclipse from the front lawn of the museum. At our location, the Moon will cover about 90% of the Sun at maximum eclipse. Bartow Pell educator and New York City NASA Solar System Ambassador Robin Vernuccio will provide an understanding of what is happening and will lead fun eclipse activities for children. Eclipse viewers will be offered, one per person as long as they last. Please register in advance for this exciting event.
