Ace Schwarz (they/them) is a middle school science teacher from Pennsylvania. They have been teaching science for eight years and love incorporating elements of social justice within the science curriculum. Ace uses social media to help educators, caregivers, and administrators create LGBTQ+ inclusive environments. They received GLSEN's 2019 Educator of the Year as a result of this work. Ace's favorite celestial body is Enceladus, and when they aren't reading a cool geology or astronomy book, they can be found rock climbing or hanging out with their cat, Panther.
