Ever since he was a young boy, Yusuf Rafi has been fascinated by space exploration. Some of his earliest and most fond memories include visits to local science museums or watching science films. It’s no surprise then that Yusuf’s career goals for most of his childhood were lightyears from Earth! Ever since he could remember, he was resolute in his pursuit of a space-related career. Today, he is currently a student at Vaughn College of Aeronautics & Technology studying Mechanical Engineering. While he hopes to one day work for NASA, he often refers to a quote from NASA Astronaut Lee Morin, “Any role in space is wonderful...your Golden Retriever doesn't care whether he rides in the front seat or the back seat or the trunk -- as long as he gets to ride in the car with you, he's happy."
