James Kasting
Dr. Kasting studies the evolution of planetary atmospheres, and has worked closely with NASA in its mission to detect habitable worlds outside our solar system.
Bethany Ehlmann
Dr. Ehlmann is studying the mineralogy of Mars using remote sensing, to learn more about its early climate and why it has changed to become the cold dry place it is today.
Sylvestre Maurice
Dr. Maurice is the Deputy Principal Investigator for the ChemCam instrument on the Mars Science Laboratory, responsible for the design, construction, testing, and delivery of one of the instruments. This is a very versatile job; one day an engineer, the next a manager to hire people or to solve budget issues, the following day a scientist interested in the origin and evolution of the Mars crust.
