Water in the Solar System: Water, Water, Everywhere!
Featured Activity

The Earth

Although Earth is not the only planet with water, we are the only known planet with oceans of liquid water, so fundamental to life! Join us to celebrate Earth Day!

Earth Day is held every year on April 22. There are numerous ways to get involved. Offer a program! Host an event! Each year has a different theme; check out this year's theme on the Earth Day website!

Get involved in Arts for the Earth education program, developed to teach sustainability and environmental education through classrooms, museums, and community programs:

Visit NASA's Earth Day website to share how you and your family help our Earth and learn about how NASA is studying our home planet!

Check out the Classrooms and Organizations and Clubs tabs for additional ways to celebrate Earth Day by comparing our unique ocean planet to other worlds in our solar system!
