Biography:
Liane Ryan was born and raised in Alaska. She loves spending time with her family outdoors hiking, camping biking or rollerblading. Liane has had a love for science and has dreamed of traveling to space since she was young. She was honored to be selected by her school district to attend the Boeing Space Academy for Educators in Huntsville, Alabama in 2009. Liane has been teaching in the Matanuska Susitna Borough School District since 1995 and currently teaches sixth grade science at Teeland Middle School in Wasilla, Alaska.
