Linda Rebowe Gauthier was born and raised in Baton Rouge. In 1969 she received a BS in secondary education to teach biology, chemistry, and general science. In 1988, she received her Certification in computer literacy. Linda is currently enrolled at LSU in the masters of education in science program, having accummulated over 60 hours in graduate school. She attended NASA NEWEST, Mission to Planet Earth Workshop, and Liftoff Texas Space Grant Workshop.
