On 19 November 2004, at 10:58 UTC, SMART-1 passed its second perilune and successfully completed its first orbit around the Moon. The next perilune passages, over the course of two months will occur at increasingly shorter intervals, as SMART-1's orbit is continuously adjusted to reach the final science orbit in mid-January 2005.
