Glory Above Earth

Glory is the first mission dedicated to improving our understanding of human and solar effects on climate.


Glory is a low Earth orbit scientific research satellite designed to collect data on the properties of aerosols and black carbon (soot) in the Earth's atmosphere and study the long-term effects of solar irradiance. Glory will help determine whether climate changes are by-products of natural events or caused by human activity.
