LISA

This mission concept calls for three spacecraft to detect and observe gravitational waves that are emitted during the most powerful events in the universe. LISA will detect gravitational radiation from astronomical sources, observing galaxies far back in time and testing the fundamental theories of gravitation. It is a cooperative effort between NASA and the European Space Agency.
