Date: 26 May 1969

Dawn was just breaking as Apollo 10 floated gently down into the Pacific Ocean 636 km (395 miles) east of Pago Pago. The pinpoint landing was so accurate that the blinking tracking lights on the spacecraft were visible from the USS Princeton during the descent.
