Changes in the Earth and Sky
- The surface of the Earth changes. Some changes are due to slow processes, such as erosion and weathering, and some changes are due to rapid processes, such as landslides, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.
Short Description: This simple activity for young elementary students is based on a middle school activity ("Making and Mapping a Volcano"). After having vinegar/baking soda eruptions, students use Play-Doh to mark where the lava flowed.
