Short Description: PP 37-41. In Part A, students will research characteristics of living organisms and develop a chart that will help them define important features of a living organism. In Part B, they will use their definition to determine if there is anything alive in three different soil samples. Students will record their observations and draw pictures as they collect data from the samples. Note: This is a 129 page PDF.
